Here You Go: 3 Before & Afters

Neil George Salon colorist Kacey Welch shares with us her recent work with some great hair makeovers.

Color Fix to Youthful Blonde

If you frequently, or even semi-frequently, visit the salon chair to lift your natural shade with highlights, the tendency over the years is to go blonder and blonder. With this example Kacey shows us how adding lowlights, and therefore depth, to your shade makes you look younger. The dimension and shine instantly makes the hair look healthier, and her client look younger! Cut and style by Neil George Salon stylist Allie Paronelli.

Brunette to California Blonde

This second client came in from Seattle, wanting to freshen and update her color. Kacey fine-tuned the color with precision highlights, resulting a classic and natural looking California blonde shade.

Fall Colors

Kacey advises that if you’re looking to update your look for the Fall, the easiest way to an instant hair makeover is by adding depth to your color. With this said, it doesn’t mean blondes need to go dark, but brunettes and red heads need that richer color for Fall. Kacey’s client is naturally an ashy brown color but we love how the warm tones and this added depth comes richness and shine.
