Before and After: Tone Brassy Hair

Pro tips from expert Neil George Salon colorist Sarah Conner, who shares this before and after of a client in progress of eliminating the brassy & orange color that can come from over-processing. Sarah advises that if your hair is naturally dark, “you can be a blonde, but you can’t have the base be lifted too warm/too light or you will forever be battling the contrast of an orange base and yellow highlights.” Sarah was able to neutralize her client’s color with a subtle base bump and fine highlights throughout. Cut and style by Neil George Salon stylist Chris Turner.
